Welcome to the world of Faithlife forums. Yes, we know that this was not a voluntary move for some of you. But remember, you can still use your Wordsearch while you dip your toes in the depths of Logos. And, as the conversion of resources and personal documents will take time to complete, you likely have to take the slow switch route.
You will find in our forums, people who have used both Wordsearch and Logos for years, usually for access to certain resources but sometimes for specific functions They can help you see how to achieve in Logos what you did in Wordsearch. Think of them as translators. Then there are those of us who speak only "Logos/Verbum" -- tell us what you want to do, and we will walk you through how to do it. Most of us remember our own frustration trying to figure out how to use one feature or another. Ask how before launching a tirade on the absence/difficulty of a feature -- in some cases, we'll join you and tell you how to express the problem to Faithlife through their feedback channels.
We ask little in exchange for our help -- just a little respect for all forum participants and the Faithlife employees. Think of the forums as a Pacific Northwest front room for a small Bible software study group. Given our heritage, if we could we'd offer you coffee and a bite to eat.
Oh, yes, a few of us have something under our avatar - it identifies Faithlife employees and volunteer MVP's. There are also lurkers who are former employees, individuals with training ministries specializing in Faithlife, seminary professors, former MVP's who are equally qualified to give you answers. The lurkers have no identifier under their avatars.
