No, at this time you cannot select the font.

Thank you for your answer, Philana.
It is interesting that if you copy a portion of text from a Facebook entry and paste it into Word it shows up as Times New Roman font. Why can't this happen for any text from any source in Logos?
I don't understand why this topic is systematically ignored. Other Bible software (as in Accordance) has had this option for years so I know it's possible.

This is a matter of prioritization. With limited resources, fixing problems that already have a simple solution (change the font in your word doc from the word menu) will not take priority over problems that don't.
My thanks to the various MVPs. Without them Logos would have died early. They were the only real help available.
Faithlife Corp. owes the MVPs free resources for life.

Can you achieve this in the Word side of things with the Paste options (e.g. "merge formatting" or "use destination theme") by clicking on the down-pointing caret?
Making Disciples! Logos Ecosystem = Logos8 on Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (Win10), Android app on tablet, FSB on iPhone, [deprecated] Windows App, Proclaim, Faithlife.com, FaithlifeTV via Connect subscription.
This does not solve the problem. I know I can work around the problem, but I don't think I should have to when this is easily done elsewhere.
Thank you for your input Dave. That does help a little.
