Good Morning,

I upgraded to alpha 25 this morning (approximately 4 hours ago). The indexing time has steadily grown. It is now saying there are 13 hours remaining. It started out at 4 went down to a little over an hour and has steadily lenghthened since. Anyone else having this issue?

All the best,

John

It's a complete reindex and will take a little while. The time shown does fluctuate. Mine did.

As I understand it, it depends on the nature of the resource currently being indexed. Bibles and Interlinears indicate the time to be very long, whereas books tend to indicate a shorter time. It should sort itself out. I doubt it will take 13 hours. In the end mine took about 6 hours.

Every blessing

Alan

I recently switched from PC to Mac.  Downloaded the Logos 4 Mac and the Libronix DLS for Mac.  Not sure how to integrate the two since they are placed in my apps folders as two separate apps.  Also have no idea how to index.

Welcome to the forums.

Logos 4 Mac is treated as a completely different application from Logos for Mac 1.2.2 They are not integrated.

For more information on Logos for Mac 1.2.2 see the support pages at http://www.macbiblesoftware.com/support/articles/. It doesn't need indexing in the same way as Logos 4 Mac.

Logos 4 Mac should download your resources automatically and thereafter index them - also automatically. The first time it is best to let it index overnight, after first making sure that you change the sleep settings for your Mac in System Tools, so it doesn't go to sleep while it is indexing, though you can let the display close!

Enjoy the transition from PC to Mac. I know that I did when I switched last October. (Best thing I ever did from a computer perspective.)

Every blessing
