I'm not quite sure what you mean by this. Are you able to expand / clarify?

Although parallel resources may be useful - enabling you to quickly switch translations

Have a look at prioritisation

When I open a given passage and click on the // nothing happens.   My preferred version is ESV but I like to check out a passage in other translations.  I'm a newbie so just looking for some help.   Thank you

What other Bibles do you have available? And what Base Package, if any, do you have?

Can you post a screenshot (using the paperclip icon in the forum editor) showing what you describe?

I think that Graham is correct in thinking that you need to prioritize your Bibles. Try these steps and see if it helps achieve what you need.

1. Open your library. I usually right click and hit open,

.

2. In the "Find Resources" field type the words: type:bible  Please note that there is a colon in between the two words. This will list all of your available Bibles. After that, click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner and click on "Prioritize Resources.

.

3. Finally, drag your preferred Bible to the very top of the list. This should prioritize your preferred translation and open it up when you click on a scripture reference.

Curious what Bible(s) are on your device ?

Library has a hamburger menu that toggles display of facets, which includes Type => Bible

Bottom of Library Facet list has Devices => This Device (Resources downloaded)

Parallel Resources // in a Bible shows other Bibles downloaded (on This Device):

Prioritization affects order of Bibles (on This Device) shown in Parallel Resources // (screen shot shows first four Bibles from personal Prioritization while the rest of the list is the default order by Faithlife).
