That probably should be more precise: 3. Load English Bible with Reverse Interlinear functionality (like NRSV, NIV, ESV, NASB95)
The RI will send the lookup to search for a Greek or Hebrew headword. Absent the RI, the lookup will go for an English headword and work okay (such as with old NASB)

Yes, you are probably right ... but the RI should not have any effect ...it is "stupid" to assume all readers of an English Bible read the original language fluently and want to see the lemmatized form of the base text. I have the context menu and information panel for that.

When Prefer Lemmas is set to Yes it will pull from a Lexicon. So if you don't want to look up a lexicon when there are lemmas then it needs to be set to no.

This is interesting. But I think it would be even more interesting if this change could be made only in the resource you are using instead of being global. An example would be to have two Bibles open one set each way.
