I'm sure that this has been discussed before, but is there any reasonable chance of Faithlife getting Tolkien's "The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings" and C.S. Lewis' "The Chronicles of Narnia?"
I imagine it depends on what the families demand for it.
I would suggest that the quickest way to get this in Logos would be for Americans to write their political representatives and demand they stop granting copyright extensions and forcing those terms on other nations during trade negotiations. e.g. C.S. Lewis is public domain in Canada and Tolkien will be in 2024 but not if the US government gets their way. Is this really the will of the people?
Tom, I really want to forums to stay away from politics. There is enough tension from competing beliefs already.
