NB.Mick:
FL decided not to grant access to the existing Geneva 1599 bible

This is a bit confusing. The live Research Edition resource (on the right in your pic) says in the catalog that it is a 1560 edition published by Rovland Hall consisting of two sub-resources: the 1560 Geneva Text, and its associated Notes. This despite its internal resource name indicating it is a "1599" edition. Maybe there used to be a 1599 edition, which is being left in place in the catalog as a stub pointing for now to the volumes from the "English Bible Collection" set?

Regardless, the two-volume 1560 Geneva is included in the $0 Logos 9 Basic base package, so the OP may want to download that to get a properly formatted Geneva Bible for the time being, while waiting for the other edition to be completed.

My understanding would be that the 1599 edition by Tolle Lege publisher has modernized spelling, possibly different cross-references, notes and introductory material.
