In 2 Corinthians 11:9, the "brothers" from Macedonia who supplied aid to Paul are tagged as "Aquila" and "Priscilla". They helped Paul while in Corinth, but came from Rome and Aquila is described as being from Pontus.
While in Corinth, Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia (Acts 18:5). Philippi was in Macedonia, and the Philippians were known to support Paul financially (Philippians 4:10-18).
I know the identity of the "brothers" in 2Cor 11:9 is speculative, but it seems much more likely that they should be identified with Silas and Timothy. Several commentaries make this observation; I do not have any that identify Aquila and Priscilla in this respect.
The tags for "brothers" from Macedonia in 2 Corinthians 11:9 should be "Silas" and "Timothy" instead of "Aquila" and "Priscilla".
