I'm trying to make a Hebrew search on the word Shem. typing: h:shem doesn't popup anything. Typing שֵׁם doesn't also produces anything. Is there a solution
I am using the Verbum beta and I can confirm this bug.
A simple search for <Root = lbs/he/שֵׁם:1> does work.
It looks like a beta issue - it works correctly on Logos 9.4 stable release
Although it works correctly for me on 9.5 beta 3 as well!
What platform are you using?
A simple search on Bible / BHS doesn't work either. It produces a long list of items that don't work. After a lot of scrolling down you get the right option
I'm working on MAC 9.5 beta 3

What resources are you searching on? Searching on the NIV works for me.
This last search was on BHS SESB and other Hebrew versions
The problem is that a range of options is showed that doesn't work. Entering שֵׁם doesn't produce anything.
After long scrolling working option are displayed. See screenshot.
I do not know if this is deliberate.

Root words are only available for Logos Hebrew morphology (LBS) e.g. in LHB, DSSI, Translations with Hebrew reverse interlinear (ESV, NASB, etc).
If looking for a manuscript form, they are presented after lemmas and roots, requiring some scrolling.
Entering שֵׁם doesn't produce anything.
The lemma word שֵׁם works with BHS/WIVU, SESB 2.0 as well as LHB (enter it after selecting the resource, and choose the appropriate lemma from the list - it may not work if already entered when changing resource).
