Searching and displaying particular highlights in a resource

I've read a book while using different highlights, which I called e.g. Agree, Disagree, Interesting, etc. I know you can use the Notes Tool for exporting all your highlights in a specific resource.
However, what the Notes Tool doesn't accomplish, is only exporting particular highlight styles. So, let's say I want to export only and all the highlights 'Agree' and 'Interesting', it looks like I can't do that with the Notes Tool.
So I tried a Basic Search (see screenshot), searching a single resource, using the search fields for the two particular highlights, while searching for the operator * (which basically searches for anything).
However, it keeps searching forever without presenting any hits so far.
Questions:
- Is there anyone who can reproduce a search like this and report immediate results (i.e. a quick load of the search results)?
- Even better: any suggestions for how to ONLY display particular highlights in a resource?
(UPDATE: it eventually took more than 8 minutes to indeed generate the desired results, but I would love this to be done much faster)

Try searching for the highlights as the search string - such as:
{Highlight Highlighter Pens/Green Highlighter}, {Highlight Highlighter Pens/Orange Highlighter}
You can use this in a standard search panel (results on the left) or in an Inline Search (results on the right)
Details on highlighting searching are in the helpfile

Thanks, @Graham, this is soo cool!
Now, when I tried to export the inline search results, Logos wouldn't let me export all highlights, but only one at a time.
The export page does show, for example, 48 pages of results with each page containing one single highlighted text. But then, if you send it to a Word doc, it only exports the last highlight.
Is this a bug? Or is there a workaround?

Certainly seems like a bug to me - or maybe two:
- I don't know why it just shows one highlight per page
- And, yes, it should export all of them not just the last one

I'm heading to bed but isn't this normal for an inline search? The results are shown as independent items not as a page of results.

The Print / Export panel shows there are 100 results (in my case) but only one is exported to a Word Document. This doesn't seem right

Sorry, I wasn't clear at all - by normal, I meant the 1 per page not the only 1 printing.

The design is quite clear in that respect. The only recourse is to conduct a normal Bible/Basic Search

This is not a satisfactory solution, as this would only display the first two or three lines from the highlighted passage, not the whole highlighted passage (see screenshot below).
My goal is to create a 'summary' of a book, based on my highlights. The inline search for the highlights does exactly that, except that there seems to be no way of exporting this 'summary', because of the two 'bugs' mentioned above.

You aren't the first to have that goal. Perhaps you could treat it as a suggestion and put it on Roadmap | Faithlife

I've created a case to fix the problem with only the first result getting exported despite what shows up in the preview.
I'm not certain which is the second bug you are referring to.

Thanks, Andrew, for getting onto this!
I'm not sure if these are indeed bugs, but these were the perceived ones:- When exporting highlights from an inline search, Logos presents one highlight per page, instead of a list of highlights one after the other (which would be nice in order to have a 'summary' of the book.
- Even with the one highlight per page, Logos in fact only exports the last highlight.

I agree that it's not usable the way it is now for a couple reasons (including a 100 page limit in the output). We also have a case to eliminate the one highlight per page output.

I didn't mean it was acceptable, but it may not have been a "bug".
I'm glad that Andrew cleared up matters.

Any update? How big is the chance we'll see an update fixing these issues, sometime this year?
