Depending upon where you live, you may or may not be aware that FL employees are experiencing record-breaking heat ... not just breaking daily  or monthly records but often breaking highest ever reported. When the Pacific Northwest is hotter than Dubai and temperatures are up to 35 degrees above the average for the day, you are in territory that people are not prepared for - in our clothing, our housing, even our cars. So please cut some slack for slow responses and irritable behavior. Everywhere has it's own kind of misery - currently ours is heat.

Yes, I was surprised you guys are trying to beat our AZ temps, and not so much ACs percent-wise.  I'm just hoping you don't get the fires ... we're smoked-up with 50,000 acre fires on both sides of us.

MJ and DMB, thanks for reminding us to be compassionateSmile

And you two, please take good care of yourselves!

From Beaverton, OR, which is also pretty "warm".

At least there is humor to be found in it. My daughter sent me a weather map that listed the high in Wenatchee today as 1103 F Big Smile I think that can be called hellacious.

About 1/3 of the house have A/C in Seattle ... about the lowest for any major metropolitan region in the US

Maybe the "Pastor Pod" promotion that runs through Wednesday will now get a window or rooftop A/C??
