Which journals do you find most helpful in your studies? Is there a particular journal that you go to most often?  Thank you.

Depends on your areas of interest, of course.

I find JBL cited often in scholarly works.

I am a Southern Baptist so naturally I use Founders and Souther Baptist Theology from SBTS mostly. I own all the journals so I use them all.

Interesting question, Michael.

Sorting my library by "Most Used", filtered to "type:journal", it looks like the ones I've used most are:

  1. JETS (Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society)
  2. JBL (Journal of Biblical Literature)
  3. R&E (Review and Expositor)
  4. ERT (Evangelical Review of Theology)
  5. Semeia (limited to just a few issues)
  6. Tyndale Bulletin
  7. BBR (Bulletin for Biblical Research)
