I'm shopping for a tablet under $300 to use with Logos (for light study, reading, and preaching from) and Kindle. Lenovo Duet Chromebook looks like a contender, but I can't find any reviews/information on-line describing how user friendly Logos is on it (I have seen some mixed reviews from other chromebooks). Does anyone use a Lenovo Duet? What has been your experience? Any other sub-$300 tablets I should look into?

Welcome to the forums!

This chromebook/tablet will require you to use either the web app or Android mobile app. You won't be able to run the full Logos desktop app on it. The specs are low for a chromebook, but it has had great reviews. I would think that it would run the Logos web app fine.

That's good news! Not looking to run the full suite, just the mobile app would suffice. From what I can tell, the Duet is a Chromebook that is fully capable of running all android apps. If that proves true, then Logos should run it :)

If Logos is your reason for purchase, and if your desire is the mobile app vs. the web app, I’d hold off until you get a more definitive answer. I would not expect it to be optimized for a non touch screen chrome book.

That's a well reasoned idea! However, one of the attractions to the Lenovo Duet is that it is a touchscreen. Even though it is Chromebook, it looks like an iPad. Here's a Youtube review video I watched about its features - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNaq8XqLAqM&t=3s

if you're open to it, look for a used iPad and you'll be a lot happier.

I've used a lot of android tablets and none of them compare to the iPad. I really like a lot of Android phones, but tablets are not up to snuff. The Pixel phones, Galaxy phones are all great.

If you do have to go with a tablet for running Android version of Logos, get a lower cost Galaxy Tab. The Tab S6 Lite is one of the better android tablets.

I owned the Lenovo Chromebook Duet and returned it for the Tab S6 Lite. Android apps run much better on the Tab S6 Lite than on the Lenovo CB Duet. It was a little clunky and felt budget whereas the Tab S6 Lite feels premium. You can get a keyboard cover for it if you want a integrated keyboard. Also the S Pen works great with either the built in S Notes app or with something like OneNote or other handwriting note apps.

I hope this helps.
