Yep!
Thanks Garry for prompting a little church history search on my part.
HI Joshua,
Thanks for the reply, have you got any recommendations on resources.
Hope you and your family are well
I loaded up with The ChristadelphianMagazine 1864-2000 and ChristadelphianWorks CD-ROM, volume 2 (http://www.thechristadelphian.com/acatalog/CDROMs.html)
I'm finding these excellent.
Apart from that I'm relatively new toLogos so I'm still learning how to use the resources effectively.
I'm attending a Logos Camp in Nashvillein August as I will be over in the USA for a wedding, so hope to learn a lotmore there. Where are you from?
Your bro by grace,
josh
I have those resources and they now have the Advocate and heralds as well. I have had the software for a few years and not used it much, but since version 4 came out i have been using it a lot for my talks, as i find it a much better product.
In the autumn they are brining out a sermon tracker and a book builder module. Sermon tracker will be useful for tracking which meetings i have done my talks at and for storing them, and the book builder will allow me and others i can convince to add more of christadelphian material at a low cost.
Yes the christadelphian resource is very good, i am currently looking at building a saved search that will ignore the back section on dates and events.
I am from the Bournville eccesia in the uk.
You will have to let me know the details of seminar and any good info you have found out. There are a lot of other good resources that can be used like youngs, study bibles, and Hebrew resources i can send you a list if you would like.
Also have a look at the pre pub http://www.logos.com/prepub and community pricing http://www.logos.com/communitypricing sections for cheap resources. in particular in the community resources the barns notes one would be a good one to put a bid on !
In the hope we share
Hi Garry,
Because several books of Christadelphian writers are on the Logos Libronix program we do use the system. But to be honest we do not find it very practical or easy to use.
Logos 4seems much handier and we look out if it could be a good alternative and if the works could be included in the system. The second problem for us Belgians is the price card for the Logos system. For American Standards and paid ministers it can be a good standard, but for us it is very expensive.
We our self offer a basic free software (with bibles in many different languages) to our members and website visitors (go and visit our websites for it) and use a full version of that very handy Biblesoftware program, which offer also a subscription system to keep it always up to date.
I reckon i am a few days late on this one, guess it means that i do not really read as often as i should. Well yes there are Christadelphians that use Logos4, i have the Original Languages bundle twice over (from L2 thru L4), yet i am at odds as to what "Christadelphian" Writers you may be referrign to for i have only found one, so it would be enlightening if you would share them with me....
Robert
Robert, you can go here to purchase more Christadelphian titles in Logos, including:* Apostolic Advocate 5 volumes, 1834-38)
* Herald of the Future Age (4 volumes, 1845-48)
* Herald of the Kingdom and Age to Come (11 volumes, 1851-61)
* 17 works by John Thomas
* 14 works by Robert Roberts
* Temple of Ezekiel's Prophecy
* Undesigned Scriptural Coincidences
* Wrested Scriptures
* Understanding the Bible
* The Atonement
* God Manifestation or Theophany
* Index Rerum
* Resurrectional Responsibility
* The Ambassador of the Coming Age (1864-1869)
* Christadelphian (1869-2000)
I have been there but i only seen two that stated "Libronix" so it was my understanding that that was all they had.
Thanks i will look into it further.....
Robert.
There are actually three CDOMs. One is the Christadelphian Magazine CDROM, one is the Apostolic Advocate/Herald of the Future Age/Herald of the Kingdom and Age to Come CDROM, and one is the Christadelphian Works CDROM (which contains about 40 books). They were all published in Libronix, but if you purchase them and synchronize your license then L4 will download and index them.
Ok, thanks.
So if i understand you correctly i need to order them from the christadelphian site, since i am having troubles locating them in the products line of Logos.
I wonder if there would be any copyright infringements if i were to use the PBB that i have with the Orig.Lang. to make some from the others listed on the site...?
Correct. These were third party projects which Logos does not sell through its site.
Check the copyright laws in your country.
ok thanks again.
So just out of couriousity, is Evangelion from btdf your Brother?
Yes he is.

If you do not have access to L3 Win, call Logos Customer Service with the activation code from the CD case, and they should be able to unlock it for you.
