I got an e-mail yesterday telling me that this book on my wishlist has a discount expiring soon. When I click on the link for the book, I get "This is not a product we currently sell." What happened to the book?
Well, echos of a problem in 2016 ... and I have no idea.
But! Searching William Varner, led to Apostolic Fathers Commentary (Varner is prepub'd on 2nd Clement). And that led to the Didache volume I don't yet have! Which ... is on sale! Thank you!

Ok ... Back to James. Is this his promised re-published volume on James?
I forgot about his James commentary previously withdrawn. I don't think this is a reissue of that one. This one is listed on Amazon. The complete title is The Book of James: A New Perspective: A Linguistic Commentary Applying Discourse Analysis.
Is this his promised re-published volume on James?
I don't think so - going with Amazon here, this book is from 2011 and thus predates EEC James (it is actually mentioned in the Acknowledgements there). But the second edition 2017 is from "Createspace Independent Publishing", while the first edition was by Kress. I guess the rights fell back from the first publisher to the author, and thus FL may no longer be allowed to sell the first edition (possibly after a grace period, or after people at Kress or FL became aware of it.)
It may be possible that FL licenses this second edition (I have no idea if it is any way different than the first and thus requires a new production process), but that's even more guesswork.
