Is it possible to read through a book. Highlight different passages as you go, then copy/paste/export only the highlighted sections into one note.

No - all the highlights will be stored separately and "linked" to the resource

Please advise what you are hoping to achieve - there might be another way to do it.

This would be a handy feature. Kindle does it. Anything you highlight can be seen at https://read.amazon.com/notebook

I'm confused about the meaning of "the highlighted sections" after you "Highlight different passages".

Without fully understanding, you should ensure that each highlight goes into the same Notebook in order to create a relationship.

If you want highlights to literally belong to one Note, you have to do this from the Note of the first highlight via Anchors i.e. select text in the resource, click Add Anchor in the Note, choose "Selected text" and then click Done. They will have the same highlight style

Hi Ben,

If you want to put the text of what you highlighted into a note, you would use the Print/Export command. Keep in mind, this would be the text only, it would not link back to the resource.

After you are done highlighting the book, open the Notes Tool.

Make sure the Notes filters sidebar on the left is open.

Click "highlights"

Find your resource in the filters sidebar and click it. You may have to search for it using the search bar/magnifying glass icon at the top of the filters.

In the notes list, in the middle, click one note to select it.

Select all notes by typing CTRL-A or CMD-A.

Click "Print/Export."

Click "Copy to Clipboard."

Open a new note and paste.

Hope this helps!
