After reading this, https://www.challies.com/resources/why-i-am-still-all-in-with-e-books/ I thought: "We can wish, right?"
It could be that I’m not using Logos to it’s fullest potential, but is there a reason you want a dedicated reader instead of just an app for an existing tablet?

I LOVE my iPad. I LOVE all things Apple. With that said, nothing beats an eInk reader for "just reading" (and possibly making simple highlights).
With that said, Logos will never create their own eReader, nor should they. It would not be a wise financial decision.
The only two real options:
1. Convert and send a book to your kindle. (The "send to kindle" feature is greatly missed... its unlikely return is our best hope)
2. Use an Android eInk reader with the android logos app.
For shore. We just got our new Oasis. I was completely confident, the Voyager could never be improved on, and the first Oasis was designed for purses and dentist offices (our dentist lets us read, during his uncomfortable exercizes!). But the new Oasis is almost an iPad Mini (size), and oh so reader-ific. Alas, FL books are banned from its environs.
We now have an eInk just for our 'religious' library (sans Logos of course).
Being of unsound mind, I got to thinking about this some more. Sorry.
eInks are quite cheap in volume. What if you could sell units in volume to churches?
- Hand out to members but they only work in 'my' church, not yours. Reduced church-shopping.
- Automatically linked to the praise team (or hymnal, depending).
- Automatically turns to the correct verse, for the pastor. No more patiently waiting.
- Switches from Bible study class to worship time automatically (discourages Bible study discussion gone off the rails)
- Pastors can have follow-along-sermons, just like kareoke.
Minus's:
- Someone will like their iPad more ... it's in color!
- Church splits will become administratively prohibitive (who gets the eInks?)
Hmmm ... maybe ...
Back when I was evaluating purchasing Logos for the first time this was the one feature that put me over the edge to choose Logos over the other options. I understand this decision was an Amazon one and out of Faithlife's hands, but man I miss the ease of this feature. *sigh*
