Why does this search query yield no results?
you can get the discussion of 'nasa' in your commentaries related to gen 4,7 with the 'Lemma in Passage' function. (e.g. via bible word study guide)
Try <Lemma = lbs/he/נשׂא> WITHIN {Milestone <Ge4>} that finds Genesis 4:13
Keep Smiling [:)]
I know of that option, and that's exactly what I hoped to accomplish with the given search query.
However, my question is why the given search query does not work the same way? I'm pretty sure I've successfully done searches like this before.
I feel the given search query should exactly give me those commentaries that deal with the lemma at their Milestone of Gen. 4:7. And the WBC is one commentary that I have and that deals with it, but it doesn't show up in this search.
You will have to use נשׂא WITHIN {Milestone <Ge 4:7>} instead. Despite the fact that right clicking on the word reveals a lemma in the context menu, that resource doesn't actually have lemma tagging. The lemma at the location you right click is made available through a request to a Faithlife server, and that data isn't used when running a search.
Ah, of course, that makes perfect sense! Thanks for helping me out.
