Identifying Authors in Marketing Emails

It would be helpful if marketing email blurbs for books identified the author(s). I find they very rarely do, so if I want to know the author, I must either peer closely at the image of the book cover, or click-through to the website. I've become pretty annoyed by this, and routinely now just delete the emails unless I'm extra-enticed by the title. 

I don't know if this is just a personal pet peeve, or if others find it frustrating as well, but it's been annoying me for a long time, and so I figured I'd mention it.

Agree. 

But click-thru is the churn metric ... at least you download the images. I don't even do that.
