If Christ shares in divinity, to what extent is that divinity in Christ? Or, more practically, to what extent can that divinity be experienced in Christ? This experience found personally in Christ is the main point of John’s Christology.” When it is said, “to what extent can that divinity be experienced in Christ?” what does it mean? As in experiencing God in Christ? Being able to have a relationship with God through Christ? What is this meaning and how can I study this query in Logos?

I gather you want to study the divinity of Christ. If so, https://ref.ly/logos4/Factbook?ref=lsto.JesusDivinity, https://ref.ly/logos4/Factbook?ref=bk.pt%3aJesus_Divinity, or https://ref.ly/logos4/Factbook?ref=bk.%25hypostaticUnion may help.

If you want to study the relationship of the Christian with the divinity of Christ, https://ref.ly/logos4/Factbook?ref=bk.%25divinization, https://ref.ly/logos4/Factbook?ref=lsto.AtonementTheories and https://ref.ly/logos4/Factbook?ref=bk.%25deification may be useful.

I created a Basic search of Everything for "Divinity of Christ"

Check your results for anything interesting and be sure to open Factbook for entries there.

You'll need to consider how people in different streams of the faith have different understandings of "experiencing God in Christ."

Examples:

  • Consider how Eastern Orthodoxy understands our participation in God through Christ (keyword "theosis").
  • Consider how Catholics receive the "real presence."
  • Consider whether what we experience "in Christ" as personal relationship (Evangelical individual decision-making) or as participation in the reign of the king (corporate relationship).

Is mighty similar to

This sort of question is fundamentally theological even if you tie it into Logos with

This is a question asked in a way that is so foreign to me as to be unintelligible because it implies that divinity is accidental rather than essential. I am also disinclined to spend time researching responses to questions that arise out of seemingly random web blogs. All of this is just to say that I am going to pass on answering requests like this and hope that others will continue to give you pointers on where to look.

this is most-likely a rabbit hole you don't want to go down. The bulk of the Council of Nicea debated this question. For a 20 pg paper, one might wish to cite the Nicene creed with a footnote explaining that evaluation of all possible views of the homoousios/homoiousios debate is beyond the scope of this paper.
