I'm overwhelmed with the quantity of Jacob Neusner titles. Not only the ones on sale, but all the other offerings as well. I'd like to pick up a few that are on sale that would help me understand the bible a little better. I've already purchased a few, but haven't browsed through them yet. I'm mostly interested in from the time of Abraham through 100 A.D. It looks like a lot of his writing carries well into modern times.

A History of the Mishnaic Law of Appointed Times, Part Five: The Mishnaic System of Appointed Times. This one looks like it would be good for understanding festivals.

Any must-haves at $4.99 or collections? Thank you, Dale.

This was interesting.

Dale, Thank you for highlighting this, I would have missed it. I picked up the following:

Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

I know this is a late response, but Neusner's output is overwhelming, indeed. I have some of his larger works, but I'm not sure that's what you're looking for during this sale. I do appreciate Beloved Amodeo's list. If you find anything that looks great, I'd love to know what you think.

I do have some of his works that were in Legacy libraries that I have already acquired over the years. I need to go through their table of contents to see what I've already got. Then I can do the same thing with the sale items. I just need to devote some time to the task before the end of the sale. I'm not going to purchase the collection because of the price, but it's a really good deal.
