In reading the newly delivered Charlesworth, James H., and Lee M. McDonald, eds. Jewish and Christian Scriptures: The Function of “Canonical” and “Non-Canonical” Religious Texts. Jewish and Christian Texts in Contexts and Related Studies. London; New York: T&T Clark, 2010, I got to wondering about the relationships between texts. Beyond the 5 parallel Gospels, is anyone aware of harmonies of any of these texts?
Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."
Not sure you use of ‘harmonies’. There’s quite a few parallels but presented in monographs.
I’m currently reading Enoch in Jubilees, and also NT apocryphal gospel parallels.
some monograph suggestions?
Not exactly what you're looking for, but interesting? I don't own either one.
