LOC??

If I understand your comment, Faithlife books have Subjects that cannot be changed by the user.

LOC = Library of Congress.

I had the same thought as David but with a bit of research convinced myself that FL has strayed from straight LOC data.

I think several of the WBC bible commentaries have this subject (in full it reads Bible--Commentaries--Collected Works for those 18 volumes in my library) and while possibly redundant, given the Bible OT/Bible NT subjects present, I'm not sure why this seems doubtful. It's inconsistent, yes.

It conflicts with Single-volume commentaries that use Bible--Commentaries. as the subject (to avoid listing individual bible books).

Bible.O.T.--Commentaries and Bible.N.T.--Commentaries also avoid listing individual books.

I agree with Dave. And to think about it, doesn't redundance cause a certain amount of confusion when searching?

Thanks Dave.

At least some individual Hermeneia volumes also have that subject. Likewise WBC 23A: Ecclesiastes, and probably others.
