Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10 Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.

This tip is inspired by the forum post: How do I search for all passage references in my library? - Logos Forums

This is a simple process when you know what to do:

  • open Bible
  • select passage text
  • right click to open context menu
  • select reference on the left side of the context menu
  • click books under search (or all under search) on the right

If you have a large library or need to control the sequence of the results, select books:

If you have a small library or want results for questions & answers or common quotes, select all.

Thanks MJ!  This is a good suggestion.

xn = Christan  man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

    • select reference on the left side of the context menu
    • click books under search (or all under search) on the right

Modify search if you want the exact reference  e.g. bible.esv:"1 John 5:7"  --> bible.esv:="1 John 5:7"
