L/V 10+ Tip of the Day #101 Print passage list with or without text
Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10 Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.
This tip is inspired by the forum post: Passage List - How to copy passage references alone (without copying passage text) - Logos Forums
The Passage List has its Print/Export function available in the Panel Menu or by CNTRL+P. For Illustration purposes, we start with two Passage Lists - one in compact form (left) and one in full form (right).
In the compact form, the referenced text is not shown. Therefore, the print preview also shows no text. It does, however, offer two choices for printing. The first is to print as shown on the screen, a vertical list of references.
The second option is to print as a minimized list. This prints the references horizontally.
If we request the print view on the full list, the option to print as shown on the screen creates a vertical list of references together with their texts.
However, the option print as a minimized list prints the references horizontally and omits the text.
Don't forget that the text may be from multiple Bibles/versfied texts.
