Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.

This tip is inspired by the forum post: Confused about Software vs. Features vs. Base Library - Logos Forums

Your basic software version is shown on the splash screen when you start the application.

To see the detail:

  1. Select Application Menu on the toolbar (kebab or three vertical dots)
  2. Select Logos Bible Software (at bottom)

The About Logos Bible Software (floating) window shows:

  1. The software version you are running. This will normally be the currently supported version or a beta version. Faithlife is moving towards everyone running the same code even if they have not purchased an upgrade.
  2. The features package you are running -- these are the paid features of the application and can be purchased at different levels or obtained through a subscription.
  3. The library you are running - a selected "top" library not a list of all your library packages
  4. A repetition of the software you are running in the format that the tech wizards need for resolving problems.
