Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.

This tip is inspired by the forum post: Advanced Timeline: Missing Sections of Scripture? - Logos Forums

This represents how the basis of the dates shown in the time is documented. It does not explain the origins of all dates as many dates have yet to be linked to their source(s). Therefore, I cannot verify that all the dates have their basis in the Logos/Verbum catalog.

When you click on an entry in the timeline, a popup shows you the source(s) of that date for that event. If you click on the book(s) listed, you will open that book to the position of the date referenced. Notice the dark flag that indicates a link to Factbook.

You can also navigate in the reverse direction. Hover on the dark flag and the timeline entry is shown. Click and you will be taken to the timeline for that entry. The moving circles to focus your attention on the correct entry are shown. Don't see the timeline flag? Go to Visual Filters and in the Book section check the Timeline entry line.

Unfortunately, not all timeline events have been linked to their source:

If you hover over a white flag in a resource, you will see that the link to the timeline has not yet been made. I have not seen consistent progress in this linkage.
