L/V 10+ Tip of the Day #266 Visual filter must match book's morphology
Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.
This tip is inspired by the forum post: Visual Filter Not Functioning - Logos Forums
The issue the OP had is one I had several times when I was first learning Logos. I would have a visual filter which worked for some Bibles and not for others. And my Andersen-Forbes visual filters suddenly quit working when new reverse interlinears were released that no longer used Andersen-Forbes as the base text. The issue is very simple. Logos supports multiple morphology coding system but a given resource supports only one. And that one must be used for a morphological visual filter to work.
Dave Hooton said:The morph.h format will only work with Logos Hebrew Morph.
For the other morphology, run a Bible Search with appropriate BHS as the resource and start by typing @ (it will be morph.sesb.h for SESB)
