L/V 10+ Tip of the Day #305 Shared highlighting palettes
Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.
This tip is inspired by the forum post: Inductive study icons/highlights - Logos Forums
There are a couple of different ways to get additional highlighting palettes into your Logos. You can download some of the publicly available ones or you can create your own. Below are the steps with pictures.
Option #1: Download publicly available palettes.
1: Open "Documents"
2: Click "Public"
3: Search for the word "Inductive"
4. Select "Highlighting Palette"
5: Choose a shared pallet and select "Add to your Docs"
.
Option #2: Create your own
1: Go to Tools > Content > Highlighting
2. Once the highlighting tool is open, Click on "New Palette"
3. Give your new palette a name.
4. Right click on your new palette and select "Add a new Style".
5. Name your new style, build it and then save it. The new style will then show under your new palette.
6. If you need to delete a palette that doesn't meet your needs, either right click on it or the little dropdown arrow to the right of it to delete it.
