I have marked LDGNT and LDHB to the same series. I think it used to work so that it will find the Bible location whether it is in OT or NT, using these two volumes as a single book. Now it looks like it is not working anymore with these two resources. It has been some months since I used this feature, thus my memory may not be quite accurate.

Gold package, and original language material and ancient text material, SIL and UBS books, discourse Hebrew OT and Greek NT. PC with Windows 11

I can't comment on those resources, but it works for my series on a GNT Bible + Hebrew OT Bible.

I've just tried with those two resources and it worked fine on my MacBook.

Ok, I tested GNT and LHB and is works fine.

Looks like LDHB and LDGNT does not do it in my PC.

I've just checked on Windows 11 and it worked fine for me.

What series name are you using?

I am using the same series name.

I did reindex all, and it still does not work for my LDGNT & LDHB pair.

Surprisingly, it does not work my earlier test for the pair GNT & LHB anymore.

Nor with my new test pairs  LGNT & LHB nor BHS OT & BYZ.

On the other hand, for example the WBC series works fine.

Please upload a screenshot of this pair selected for the Info panel in Library. Ensure the Series name is visible. Please use SBLGNT + LHB.

Today none of the series seem to work, not even for the WBC.

I did "rebuild index" and restart.

Maybe we have to wait and see whether others will have this or related problems.

Are you typing the reference and just hitting enter? Or are you checking the list of suggestions and picking the desired reference from the list (or are you typing the reference and no suggestions other than the Active reference shows up)? I ask because I'm noting that the suggestion box seems to defaulting to the current reference when you specify a reference that doesn't exist in the resource. This means that if you just type the reference and hit enter, nothing will happen.

Ok, that's it. Thanks a lot for the info!

It may not be a problem in the normal use, but in the passage study  layout it does not normally work with the linked resources, so the user has to do it manually.

I can live with this feature, although I recall that computer developers 80 years ago were expecting computers to do simple and repetitive things automatically, thus I'll look forward to some improvement here :)

Can you provide more detail? Linked resource should be working correctly in all scenarios, and as far as I can tell, are working correctly in the Passage Study Layout.

Perhaps you just mean that because the Passage Guide is not part of the link set used by the other Bibles, changing the reference there won't update the Bibles?

The new passage is Genesis 12. Looks like the saved layout has stored the position Rev 3:7 in all.

When I open then passage study layout for the Gen 12, it opens everything else at the right location, for example TOTC&TNTC (series Tyndale Commentaries), except the LDHD&LDGNT (series Lexham Discourse Bible).

Just to make sure I'm clear on what happening... You are saying that you customized the Passage Study layout to include LDHB, but when you load that layout to a New Testament passage, it doesn't switch to the LDNGT. Is that right?

And that book is not in a Link Set with other books, right?

I customized the Passage Study layout to include LDHB with LDGNT in the same tab (same series).

When I load that layout for a New Testament passage, for example Mark 3:10, it works fine.

When I load that layout for an Old Testament passage, for example Genesis 12:1, it does not work.

I assume that at the time of saving of the customization the passage study was pointing to a NT milestone.

And that book is not in a Link Set with other books, right?

No, as far as I know.

Thanks for clarifying. I've created a case to fix this problem when loading a customized QuickStart layout.
