Any plan on releasing an Audio Bible on the Old Testament in Hebrew and Aramaic similar to the Greek Audio New Testament?

How about ESV Reverse Interlinear of Old Testament in printed format (book)? Smile  I use the ESV Reverse Interlinear of the New Testament quite oftern, both in the printed copy as well as the libronix format!  But I found sometime is just easier for me to read the printed copy for quick reference.

Yup, I want a hardcopy of the ESV/Hebrew Reverse Interlinear, probably you didn't know you can purchase a hard copy of the Greek Reverse Interlinear New Testament from Crossway. Smile

Reverse Interlinear Bibles

This state-of-the-art reverse interlinear New Testament, created in partnership with The German Bible Society and Logos Bible Software, breaks with the convention of traditional interlinear texts by keeping the English as the top-line entry and placing the Greek text underneath it. This approach allows you to see firsthand the accuracy with which the ESV translators rendered the Greek text. See a sample page.

The publishers of the ESV have partnered with Logos Bible Software, the premier Bible research software developer, to publish this helpful resource. It will benefit anyone who desires to study the English text of the New Testament alongside the original.

Valuable Resources Included

  • Transliterations of all Greek words for easy pronunciation
  • Strong’s numbers for effective cross-referencing to other study tools
  • Morphology of each word
  • Free ESV Bible Resources software offer included

Hmm... I didn't know that. Thank you for the information. The digital version seems much more useful to me (with all the search and keylinking capabilities). But it is good they offer the paper book version too.

The so called reverse interlinear editions of the Bible are not worth the time. If you do not know Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek at all, then an interlinear edition can be helpful. Of course, in this age the Logos/Libronix edition of the BHS and BHQ as well as the GNT are some of the best tools for both the scholar and the student who does not know YET these languages.

Thanks, frantz for the encouragement, I needed that!
I have Logos's and Accordance's line of tools sitting on my computer(s) to entice me to learn and to work hard in seminary for two semesters to earn to get to focus on Greek for two or four semesters. Regarding lexicons I have the 1996 LSJ in Logos (yeah and of course Louw-Nida since it came with the Original Languages Library), and BDAG and HALOT (got them used) in Accordance. I got my Accordance NA27 GNT used (from elsewhere than the lexicons) together with a couple of other useful modules.

While running on two different platforms may not be necessary I'm grateful for the possibility to do so since each has their advantages (the big advantage of Logos being the newest, 1996 Edition of LSJ instead of the old 1940 Edition that Accordance offers which I haven't bought because of it being dated).

Aply!
