Many of you are aware of our upcoming transition to subscription this fall, and we’re excited to share some information for those of you who already subscribe to various Logos products.

When our new Logos and Verbum subscriptions are released, we’ll sunset many of our old subscription products, but don’t worry! We will be migrating existing subscribers to the new subscriptions automatically. Keep reading for more details and a timeline for this migration.

If you currently subscribe to Faithlife Connect (Essentials or Premiere) or Preaching Suite, you will be migrated to Logos Pro. This includes all variations of Connect Essentials including those on the “No library” or “Formerly Logos Now” plans.  If you currently subscribe to Verbum Now or Verbum Cloud: Plus, you will be migrated to Verbum Pro.

If you are currently subscribed to one of the following monthly subscriptions, your new Logos/Verbum Pro price will be $9.99/mo.

  • Faithlife Connect Essentials (formerly Logos Now) + Logos Pro (early access) - Monthly

  • Faithlife Connect Essentials (No Library) + Logos Pro (early access) - Monthly

  • Faithlife Connect Essentials (3.0) + Logos Pro (early access) - Monthly

  • Faithlife Connect Premiere (3.0) + Logos Pro (early access) - Monthly

  • Preaching Suite Essentials - Monthly

  • Preaching Suite Standard - Monthly

  • Preaching Suite Premium - Monthly

  • Verbum Now - Monthly

  • Verbum Cloud: Plus - Monthly

If you are currently subscribed to one of the following annual subscriptions, your new Logos Pro price will be $99.99/yr.

  • Faithlife Connect Essentials (formerly Logos Now) + Logos Pro (early access) - Annual

  • Faithlife Connect Essentials (No Library) + Logos Pro (early access) - Annual

  • Faithlife Connect Essentials (3.0) + Logos Pro (early access) - Annual

  • Faithlife Connect Premiere (3.0) + Logos Pro (early access) - Annual

  • Verbum Now - Annual

  • Verbum Cloud: Plus - Annual

Our new Pro subscriptions will give you access to features like:

  • Smart Search and Smart Synopsis

    • Smart Search is an AI-assisted, natural language search available in All Search and the Books Search, all without additional search syntax. It returns highly-relevant information from Logos books and generates a synopsis from the most relevant results. You can also get an AI-generated summary of these results with a single click.

  • Sermon Assistant / Homily Assistant

    • Sermon Assistant provides context-aware outlines, illustrations, discussion questions, and applications as you create your sermon in Sermon Builder.

  • Insights

    • The Insights Sidebar provides enhanced functionality using a pane directly within your Bible panel, making it easy to quickly reference Study Bibles, Commentaries and relevant associated passages.

  • Help Center

    •  Get the support you need quickly without leaving the app—we’ll take you to the right spot! Powered by the same technology as Smart Search, the new Help Center pulls together support articles, video training, and more so that whatever you’re looking to accomplish, you’ll have the help you need.

  • And much more…

If any features from your existing subscription are not included in your new subscription, we will permanently unlock those features for you to own forever. That means you won't lose any functionality when we make the switch. This will happen as part of the migration this fall.  When the migration takes place, you will lose access to the library resources included in your current subscription. However, you will gain access to ~400 books as part of your new subscription including these titles in Logos Pro:

  • 5,000 Quotations, Prayers, and Illustrations for Preachers (11 vols.)

  • T&T Clark Bible Guides Series Collection: Old and New Testament (59 vols.)

  • The Essential Lexham Dictionary of Church History

  • Holman Commentary: Old and New Testament (32 vols)

And these titles in Verbum Pro:

  • Dogmatic Theology (12 vols.)

  • The Great Commentary of Cornelius à Lapide (8 Vols.)

  • A History of the Councils of the Church (5 Vols.)

  • The Roman Missal, Third Typical Edition

Here’s what you can expect to see happen over the next several weeks:

  • Later this month, you will receive an email containing details about the forthcoming migration

  • Early in October, you will receive a reminder email about the upcoming change

  • Shortly after that, we will begin processing the migrations to Pro

  • When the transition is complete, you will receive a final email to confirm your subscription has been migrated (you will not experience any lapse of access to Logos/Verbum during this transition)

If your current subscription comes with monthly benefits (ie: free eBooks with Connect), you will have until the end of October to redeem them. After that, all Connect/Now benefits will be replaced with even better benefits of the new subscription, including 5% off the entire Logos catalog.

We’re thrilled to share the next era of Logos with you and appreciate your continued support. You can follow along with the latest Logos news here, and sign up to be among the first to learn about upcoming changes.

In the meantime, you can review the Logos FAQs and Verbum FAQs.

    Migration FAQs

What if I currently subscribe to Verbum Cloud: Premium?

Your Verbum Cloud: Premium subscription will be migrated to Verbum Max (our highest subscription tier). You will receive more information regarding this transition via email over the next several weeks.

What if I currently subscribe to Connect Starter, Verbum Cloud Essentials, or Logos Explore?

Your current subscriptions are not being impacted at this time. If you would like to move into one of our new subscriptions when they become available this fall, you can call our customer service team and they would be happy to help you.

Will I get to keep my existing subscription benefits during this transition?

If your existing subscription has benefits, you will have the entire month of October to redeem them. After that, you will no longer receive the same monthly benefits as our old subscriptions will be deprecated, but we hope you will be excited about the new subscription perks coming with Pro and other levels of Logos subscriptions.

What are the subscription benefits/perks with the new Logos plans?

Yes! Subscribers at every level will enjoy:

    • An additional 5% off across the entire Logos catalog*

    • An extra free book every month from a variety of top publishers - this perk starts November 1st!

    • Access to Logos Mobile Education courses each quarter

      • Subscribers of the Premium tier will get access to 3 courses each quarter

      • Subscribers of the Pro tier will get access to 5 courses each quarter

      • Subscribers of the Max tier will get access to 8 courses each quarter

Additionally, subscribers of the Pro and Max levels will enjoy:

    • Access to all features at sermons.logos.com - available at time of migration

    • A 5% annual reward coupon - migrated subscribers will start earning toward this immediately

*Excludes subscriptions, purchase of credit (like Book Cache and gift cards), bulk purchases, and Pre-Pub and pre-order titles.

Will I still get my 2% reward coupon for being a Connect subscriber?

Yes! Even better, our new Logos Pro subscription comes with a 5% annual reward perk. So, as a migrated Connect subscriber, as long as you stay active you will receive 2% back for the time you were subscribed to Connect and 5% back for the time you were subscribed to Pro. We’ll combine your total reward and deliver it to you via coupon code in Q1 of 2025.

What if I want to subscribe to a different subscription tier?

We’re excited to offer a suite of subscription options tailored to various Bible study needs. Once we’ve migrated you and we’ve officially launched our subscriptions this fall, if you find that a different subscription tier would serve you better, you can always make a change. You’ll be able to do this online at https://www.logos.com/account/subscriptions, or by calling our Customer Support team after the launch happens this fall.

    Thank you!

Can you explain how the MobileEd will work? Do we choose our 5 courses or are they preselected?

    Hi Natalie,

thanks for the information.I'm a german roman catholic, for now with the german FFS and Logos Pro subscription.
So far, I see these possible scenarios as alternatives for me:

    • Logos (engl.) subscription
    • Verbum (engl.) subscription
    • Logos (german) subscription

It would be nice having detailled information on the books included to each variant in order to beeing able to choose which of those meets best my needs.

Great question! I'd be happy to explain. . . Each tier of subscription will get access to a different number of Mobile Ed courses each quarter: Premium will get 3 courses per quarter; Pro will get 5 courses per quarter; and Max will get 8 courses per quarter.

These courses will be preselected by our team and included in your subscription. We will curate them based on the use-case of the subscription tier, for example:

    1. Premium: Designed for small group prep
    2. Pro: Designed for sermon prep
    3. Max: Designed for academic and original language study

As the end of each quarter nears, you'll receive email and in-app reminders about your courses changing soon. We'll offer you a generous discount to purchase the courses that get cycled out as well. When a new quarter starts, you'll be notified about the new courses you have access to.

Thank you for being part of our early access program! I hope you're enjoying Logos Pro so far. I don't have all of these details right now, but when we officially launch our subscriptions this fall, you will be able to explore each subscription option in detail, including the books that come in each tier.

This is GREAT news! I thought I was going to have to subscribe to MAX to keep (non AI) original language datasets (e.g. Literary Typing)

This is where my confusion is: Premium has the 3 so small group prep courses in mind, Pro has 5, so is it different from the 3 in premium or is it 2 additional that are sermon prep based. And then the Max, same question, different or building off the previous and adding 3 that are academic or Original language courses.

I have been very happy with everything that has transpired except one thing. One of the allures for my subscription to FL Connect (No Library) has been the ability to get 3 ebooks each month. (I know this is a perk lots of folks on the forum have said is not a big deal; but for me, it is.) In fact, I have long had a plan to acquire lots of Loeb volumes through this perk. When the subscription change was announced, I started trying to get as many volumes as possible of Pliny's "Natural History". I knew I would be a couple volumes short by the time my FLC subscription would run out, but I could buy those volumes separately; there would've been only a couple. However, with this perk being discontinued soon, my planning seems to have been in vain.

So why can't we continue to grab our 3 ebooks each month until our original plan's date passes? It seems reasonable for FL to uphold their commitment to their customers for what they understood was part of the soon obsolete purchase, IMO.

When the transition is complete, you will receive a final email to confirm your subscription has been migrated (you will not experience any lapse of access to Logos/Verbum during this transition)

    Hi Natalie.
Thanks for your helpful message. I am a Connect no library annual subscriber. I desire to upgrade to Max and then pay 2 years to lock in the current price for that timeframe. Should I wait until the migration is complete and I receive this final email and then make the switch?

While I'm not Natalie, that is what I am doing. The Connect-Pro subscription, which many of us were switched to recently, isn't the real thing. Sometime in the next month or so, the migration will go all the way to Pro. At that point is the better option to switch to Max. I'm in the boat you are, as the saying goes.

As part of the Logos 10 farewell tour, I purchased the Preaching Suite Essentials (full license, not the subscription.)

The Preaching Suite is a collection of resources. There is (almost) no subscription for resources.

Logos Pro is a collection of features with supporting resources (and some other resources bundled in)

One can be 'on' Logos Pro (or Max etc) but it would be a pain for me to have to say that I am on Logos Silver, Baptist Bronze, Reformed Silver and Preaching Suit Essentials, and so on.

When purchasing so many packages over the years resources categorisation in terms of membership becomes meaningless.

Actually, it's not clear (at least to me) that it does, Graham, because only the "additional 5% off across the entire Logos catalog*" line is footnoted with an asterisk.  It may just be a mistake, that the end-of-the-year annual reward line doesn't have an asterisk as well, not sure.  Or, it could be 5% of the subscription cost (effectively, a 5% rebate).  If it's 5% of catalog purchases, it might warrant the extra $30 to step up from Premium to Pro.  Thank you for replying!

I thought Premium and Pro were included in Max, but from your explanation it looks like three of them have independent contents. If this is the case, I have paid USD 129 for Max for nothing.

    Blessings in Christ.

Is there a list of what I will be losing? What’s the diff between resources available in my Faithlife Connect subscription and what’s is Logo’s Pro? I need to know if a regular resource will suddenly be unavailable?

I thought Premium and Pro were included in Max, but from your explanation it looks like three of them have independent contents. If this is the case, I have paid USD 129 for Max for nothing.

Tes, it has been answered elsewhere (I cannot find the link at the moment) that Pro has all that Premium has, plus what is in Pro, and that Max has all that is in Premium and Pro. If I can find the exact place where it was answered, I'll link it (I am horrible at searching and finding posts I've read before in the forums...I hope it becomes easier with the new forum updates!).

All of the FEATURES in the lower tiers ARE included in the MAX subscription. This has already been stated by official LOGOS employes.

If you looked at the list which shows what RESOURCES (books) are included in each level you would see that MAX includes all of the lower level books PLUS even more.

Also you did NOT pay for nothing. You paid to have access to ALL of the FEATURES which have come out over the last 2 years since L10 was released PLUS all of the  features that WILL come out over the next year (the length of your subscription).

What you may or may not keep will depend on whither or not you continue to subscribe for a full 2 years.

As far as the Mobile ED courses are concerned I have no idea but I would guess that once you see an actual list of available courses to pick from you would not be disappointed. My Guess? The same course titles as the lower levels but with more titles added at each level. The added courses would match the target audience. (Again this is a GUESS, I have no inside information.)

Wow.  What I had typed apparently didn't get included in my post....lol. That's weird. I should have checked this earlier. My bad. But, yes, Max has everything, feature-wise, that Premium and Pro have.

Thanks Roy, I thought so too, but her explanation made me doubt.

Roy, thank you so much for the link.  Turns out I did get an email on this and that was the same document it referenced.  I should have paid better attention! [:D]

[@Natalie Winburn (Logos)] There are a large number of books that I will be losing from my Faithlife Connect subscription that I am either in the middle of reading (Confessions of St. Augustine, Heidelberg Catechism, etc.) or are regular go-to references (A number of Bible Studies, and Verse-by-Verse books, etc.).  What is Logos doing to address these?  Are we SOL or some kind of grandfathering or way to gather a number of these back so they aren't lost?

    Thanks for the address.

So, I got an email about the migration from Essentials to Pro. In it was a link to a pdf listing the resources I would lose and those I would gain. The email stated that I would not lose access to resources that I had purchased. However, just perusing through the losing access side of the ledger it shows I would lose access to my Grant Osbourne commentaries that I paid for. There was a lot of 6 that I bought in 2016 and is in my purchase history.

So, either the list is wrong or I will lose access to previously purchased resources.

Also, a second question - if my library says I have permanent access to resources, are some of those going to be lost too?

I suspect the PDF listing is a generic one sent out to the 'migrating' customers, and does not take into account what books the customer already owns from that list. All resources with permanent licenses belong to you and will not be lost.
