Thomas Merton Collection
I'd like to suggest as a future publication for Logos the complete works of Thomas Merton - including Thoughts in Solitude, New Seeds of Contemplation, The New Man. I go to his works regularly and believe that many would benefit.

Hi Michael, and welcome to the forums. Great first post! I have encountered Merton at pastor's retreats. (his books). Two suggestions for your suggestions: first, there is an actual "suggestions" page in the forums that would be more suitable than the general section in which you posted. Second, if you don't know about it, there is also a "suggest@logos.com" which gives a higher likelihood that Logos will read it. Also there is this wiki page which may not always be updated by suggesters, but when it is, it helps the rest of us see what has been suggested. You may add your suggestion there, too.

Yes, I'd love to see Merton's works in Logos format. I've only read New Seeds of Contemplation but have been wanting to read some of his other books such as Seven Storey Mountain and No Man Is an Island. Logos format wouldn't be as much a benefit over print-based format to his works as it is for many other books (I doubt there are many cross-references to other works, and even Bible references are pretty scant in the ones that I own in paper), but it would still make sense as a collection to read on screen, particularly for people with iPhone/iPad. His are the sorts of works I wouldn't want tor read sitting up at my desk, with my study/highlighting/note-taking mindset, but rather contemplatively in my reclining chair in my prayer room...stretching it out, savoring each short bit for a while.
As for how best to make suggestions to Logos, I generally post to the Suggestions forum first and then a day or so later (hopefully after getting a few thumbs up from others) email it to suggest@logos.com with a link to the forum thread to give support to my recommendation that this would be a good thing for Logos to sell and people would want it.

Merton does quote or paraphrase early and monastic Catholics fairly heavily. The number of Biblical references (as opposed to paraphrases) varies significantly from book to book. The main "problem" with linkage is the dearth of Christian mysticism in Logos. Out of his works (shown below) I would suggest that the Biblical and Meditations are the most Logos-friendly ... although I'd love to see his complete poems in Logos as well. (list is from wikipedia)
