Here's a snapshot of the work we did this summer on Sentence Diagramming which will be in the next major update of Logos 4.
We don't have any idea at what point we'll be pushing this out in Alpha form but just want you to know that Sentence Diagramming on Mac is real and it's coming. Also the 4.2 version number is a placeholder for now, it may change before the official release.

Nice! I suspected diagrams would be a ways off from any appearance, but you have proved me wrong.
Looking forward to printing/exporting making an appearance.

The sentence diagrammer on the Mac is one of our more recent experiments in collaborating between Mac and Windows developers as the feature is being written, which is why it's so far along (sadly, the intern we had working on it had to leave before the feature was finished, and we didn't have the manpower to keep it moving and ship Logos 4 on time).

i know i saw it somewhere in the forums in the last couple weeks but could not find it again:
i would like to turn off the "stable" option and still receive the alphas and betas of new stuff as it comes out.
can someone tell me the command to do that please :)
Jesse Frame - New Mission Systems International, Australia
In the command bar type:
Set update channel to beta
At the moment, however, there are no new beta versions.
Wiki page includes update channel command => http://wiki.logos.com/The_Logos_4_Beta_Program
Noticed Logos 4.1 PC release candidate 2 approaching 2 weeks old - currently Logos 4 does not have any Beta's.
Concur with Rosie about Beta's => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/23531/175620.aspx#175620
By the way, many pre-publications now have ship dates => http://www.logos.com/prepub/shipdate

I think I have a diagramming assignment due in about 3 weeks. Can you make it in time?!

It's doubtful that we'll have an official release by that time, but it's possible that it might be available in a beta, if you enjoy living on the edge.
If I didn't I wouldn't have been using the Alpha/Beta since the beginning of the year! Thanks for your work.
I have a suggestion -
Any chance of having a small preview when we hover over a saved layout?
This would be very helpful.

Another idea -
For adding/editing a prayer item (which is a feature i absolutely love), i suggest a bigger window for the details section of the prayer request. i know it keeps going down, but a larger window with a scroll bar would be great.
thanks!!

Your saved layouts are included (with images) in the list of 'Recent' layouts.
Thee layouts are shown from most recent to the oldest, most of my saved layouts are toward the bottom of the list.

Feature suggestions such as these are more likely to be implemented if you suggest them at http://logos.uservoice.com/. That way, we can get a feel for how many users are interested in each feature request, which helps us when we prioritize new work.
Sentence diagramming is nice and all, but I would appreciate being able to simply print.

As a preview, printing of images works. Right click on one, select image, and voila a working print command is there. I imagine text is only a short way behind.
