Repeated download of 64.7 MB of resources
I have Logos4 installed on my Mac and in a Win XP Virtual machine under Parallels. Yesterday it started downloading 64MB of resources and instead of installing on my Mac, it kept starting my Parallels VM. I deleted my Logos4 Mac installation, including the /Users/jrminter/Library/ApplicationSupport/Logos4 folder and did a clean install with its 9.6 GB subsequent download (grrr...) After indexing all night, it did it again. I changed my Virtual Machine parameters to not share apps between the Mac and VM. Now it just keeps downloading the same files. Before the last cycle, I renamed the Indexer.log file (with a .old extension) and got a clean log file of the process that I am including

Suggest restarting Mac - Indexer should launch after login (blue icon in menu bar) - hopefully discover and index resources (with messages in Indexer.log file).
Also looking forward to next beta release => forum http://community.logos.com/forums/t/24257.aspx

Thanks for the suggestion. However, after restart it just downloads the same 64.7 MB of resources and never really installs them. Guess we'll see what the new Beta brings...

Can you do the following and post your logs?
1) Start Logos 4
2) "Set Use Internet to No" and "Set Automatically Download Updates to No"
3) Wait until the blue logos 4 icon goes away from the menu bar.
4) Post your Logs.
5) Restart Logos 4 and wait until the blue logos 4 icon goes away from the menu bar.
6) Post your Logs again after restart.
You can then turn Use Internet and Automatically Download Updates back on via the command bar or in Program Settings.
Other users are seeing this problem as well, but I need a little bit more information to track down why certain resources are getting into this state of repeated downloads.

Could you try deleting these files the Identified.db and Discovered.db in /Users/jrminter/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/spmtr87t.xjk/ResourceManager/logos/, and then restarting?

I did three things that I hope help. I let it try to download, and saved the logs. Note Installer ran but Logos never re-launched. That is "1_Orig_Archive.zip." Then I turned off internet & automated download. That is "2_No_No_Archive.zip" and then I restarted. that is "3_Restart.zip"

Deleting those files caused it to re-create and it keeps downloading those same 4 resources. Is there a way I can just manually install the things? This is REALLY frustrating!

I think we have a fix for it and barring any problems with testing, we should be shipping a fix for it tomorrow.
You can try copying the files to your desktop and typing "Scan /Users/jrminter/Desktop" in the command bar and see if that fixes it (assuming jrminter is your username, of course).
