For those who have and use Logos and Bibleworks what is your opinion on BDAG? Should a person buy BDAG for Logos or Bibleworks or both? What are the differences in how they are used in each program? Does anyone have BDAG on both?

You should get it in the format you will be doing most of your Greek studies as it is a resource that you will want to open to the word you are studying. That being said, Logos has links to resources outside of the biblical texts, such as the Philo, Josephus, and the Fathers that is not yet available in BibleWorks.

I've used BDAG on both and really prefer BDAG for Logos. I have ultimately stopped using BibleWorks for my Greek work, doing everything now in Logos. I prefer Logos BDAG because of how well everything is tagged, linked, and searchable.

And as an aside, since I'm no longer using BibleWorks, if anyone wants to buy a copy of vers 7 + some modules, I have mine for sale. :)

James,

I don't have both, yet.....I got BDAG/HALOT in BibleWorks before I started buying heavily in Logos. Wish I had it in Logos also/instead.  Get it first in Logos. You will probably never need it in both. (I seem to buy a lot of things I don't need.)
