RefTagger for Word Processor

Is there, or will there ever be a RefTagger type tool for Word Processors? I've used Microsoft Word for my Exegesis work and Text Studies for about 5 years now. I copy a lot of info form dictionaries and commentaries right into my text study document for easy study. I've had great success using the ctrl+alt+c feature to make my own links from my word document to passages and other references in Logos 4. I'm simply looking for something that will do my work for me and save me time so that I don't have to go back and manually add the links. I would love it if they simply appeared for me automatically when I paste items into Word in the same way that the appear on the screen in Logos 4.

I had a similar wish a couple days ago. I presume that it might be possible to handle the Word document as a web page and somehow work reftagger in it. But I don't know how to do it and whether it would even work. If someone knows it can be done, I'd appreciate instructions.

I am not asking about using smart tags. I know about that already. But the ability to hover over references and have them display the text could be really handy especially in longer documents with many references.

Came across this looking for another RefTagger freeware: http://www.instaverse.com/

And if you use TheWord Bible module, (freeware: http://www.theword.net/) and choose Clipboard monitoring (click on the gear icon up top) then whenever you copy a reference(s) from anywhere then you will get a popup over the system tray. Choose how long (etc.) in preferences Takes a few cpu cycles but neat.

Seeing as Open Office is freeware, and much better (with far more customization) i think than MS word, RefTagger or someone could likely make an extension that might do that. If TheWord can show popups of the clipboard then it could maybe detect code in a word pro. But i am not a programmer, nor the son of a programmer.

I want to see refTagger for gdocs. I would love to have a worship plan spreadsheet and so my committees could just roll over the ref and walla the text appears. Any hope? I'll post a separate post too.
