I appreciate the addition of the "definition pop-up" for Syntax Searches in 4.2 Beta 5. That's helpful. But I think a more fundamental "pop up" is necessary for the Andersen-Forbes Phrase Marker Analysis itself. I first learned how to do Hebrew syntax searches by studying the AFPMA in Logos 3. In the Logos 3 AFPMA the hover-over pop ups identified the "search terms" (such as Clause, Clause Immediate Constituent, Phrase, etc.), but these identifiers have been dropped in the Logos 4 version. So I'm not sure how one would learn to do Hebrew syntax searches in Logos 4.

For example, when I hover over the syntactic analysis of the first word in Psalm 25:1 (ignoring the superscription), Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 אֵלֶיךָ, in Logos 4, I see "Clause" --> "Indirect Object" --> "'Unto' + Pronoun", but I'm not given any information as to how this corresponds to setting up a syntax search for similar constructions. Whereas when I hover over the same items in Logos 3, I see "Clause (Prediction): Clause" --> "Clause Immediate Constituent: Indirect Object" --> "Phrase: 'Unto' + Pronoun," so now I know that an Indirect Object is a Clause Immediate Constituent and that Unto+Pronoun is a Phrase.

I had discussed this omission with one of the Logos developers at last year's SBL, so I hope this suggestion has been on your list of improvements yet to be implemented for Logos 4.

In the next 4.2a beta (beta 4), the status bar popups will contain the same information in the AFPMA as they did in Logos 3.
