Punctuation messing up search

I've been trying to create a filter including the Swedish phrase 'er Gud' (your God). The problem is that among the results I also get:

  • Gal 6:7 "Låt inte bedra er, Gud lurar man inte", and
  • 1 Thes 4:9 "Om broderskärleken behöver vi inte skriva till er; Gud har själv lärt er att älska varandra"

I don't think you need to understand Swedish to realize that those instances do not mean 'your God', but '...you; God...'.

Is there a simple way to get rid of these results? Or do we need another Match alternative here? I mean, for now I can create a Passage List, remove the offending results, and then re-search that Passage List, but that's not something I long to do in the long run, or if I happen to have a list with 746 verses in it. And what if there should happen to be two instances in the same verse: one correct and one incorrect?

Anyone has a solution to this?

Punctuation is ignored by the search engine; I would argue that each of the hits below is a good match for "says a" (without requiring the user to specify what punctuation is and isn't allowed in between).

A workaround for the problem you're experiencing would be to search for

        er BEFORE 2 CHARS Gud

This requires that there be only one intervening character between "er" and "Gud"; while this could still be a word-separating punctuation character, it's most likely going to be a space (and thus "er; Gud" is eliminated as a hit).
