just purchased Charles F. Stanley Essential Bible Study Library that is in the Libronix format. how do i load this product into my Logos 4 library?
If you don't have L3 on your machine, install it then copy your resources into the resource folder (If you don't have L3, it should be on the disk and will ask if you wish to install it). Enter your serial number and synchronize your licenses. You should get the resources downloaded into L4 when you type in "update" or close then reopen L4. If not, you may need to contact support at Logos.
You can do what George suggested above, or you can contact support via the 800 number or email with your activation code for the CD. They can unlock it for you and you can install it directly into L4 without installing L3.
(I posted this in another thread, but it seems to have died; and I'm not sure people saw it.)
Folks,
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to post this, but no one at Logos explicitly told me not to.
I recently purchased a media-only resource (Theological Journals 1-10). When I asked how I could download it, they said to call customer support with the serial number of the disc once it arrived in the mail. I asked them if they did the order fulfillment for this disc, and they do. So I said wouldn't they be able to look at the serial number before they ship it and make it downloadable based on that? They said that they are allowed to do that, but the customer has to explicitly ask for it. So I asked for it. By the time I got off the phone with the sales rep, he had an email from their shipping department with the serial number. So I got the download at the same time as the other download-only resources in my order. Woohoo!
So I'd recommend that if you're going to order a media-only resource, do it by calling the sales department, verify that Logos fulfills the shipment, and have their shipping department send your sales rep the serial number before they package it.
Hope this helps (and hasn't previously been posted ,
Donnie

You should be in the clear, since I already spilled the beans a day or two before your first posting. [;)] (Not sure many saw that either, though. You obviously didn't.)
before they package it
If you don't need the disc, you can ask them to throw it away, once the number is safely entered. Saves shipping costs and possibly VAT/duties.
