That would be a rather unexpected result. I note that you didn't put the string in quotes. I get the proper result. See attached.

Thanks George
Yes, omitting the quotes was an error but when I added quotes to my search string I got zero results!
Then I saw you had corrected the string by changing "ways" to "way".
When I removed the quotes again and ran it with "way" instead of "ways" then I got the Ps 37:5 result which makes sense.
But I still don't understand why I got my original result - something doesn't seem right!

Was that an interlinear that you received hits for? It may have been reading the English.

i get the same results as you when i have Match all word forms turned off. my guess is that L4 is looking for a single verse where each of your words occurs in all Bibles. And this is found only in a single verse in the LXX. If you will notice the colors as shown below:
when you look closely to each color in the interlinear LXX, you will see all the olive colored ones has to within the gloss under the Greek words. All the tan words has the under the Greek...and so on.
But it you change to Match all word forms you see more clearly what L4 is trying to do
EDIT: to sum it up, L4 is applying the AND function to each of your words in the search
commit AND your AND ways AND to AND the AND lordEDIT2: Bible Search looks for your search occurrence within a single verse. Basic Search looks within all text (it can cross over verse boundaries). This might also be useful to know.

It is an AND search as per Google, with the words restricted to one verse in a Bible search. Basic Search will enlarge the boundary to one chapter. If you specify "Surface Text" the result will only be found in English bibles.
