I am trying to install a program called The Essential Bible Study Library and before the program can install it has to install Libronix.  It starts and seems to be running fine and then I get a message that says Error 1722 and that the program cannot install.  I have Windows Vista on my computer and have tried installing the program with my firewall and antivirus software turned off and that isn't helping.    I homeschool and was hoping that my kids would be able to use this program for school this semester.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kendra - and welcome to the forums.

A problem like this was reported back in January - please see http://community.logos.com/forums/t/9953.aspx for details.

In that thread Deborah, a Logos employee, made a few suggestions as to how to address the problem but it ended up with the user having to contact Logos Customer Support (with their contact details on the last post in the thread)

Hope one of those steps helps and that you get your software working soon.

If you're using a modern computer, you won't be able to get Libronix working from scratch from an old CD. You should make sure you're running the latest version of Libronix from here: http://www.logos.com/support/downloads/ldls , then install the CD.

As Graham suggested, the steps I included here and that should take care of the 1722 error you were getting. If those steps do not resolve it, the best thing to do would be to call our Customer Support team as they will be able to look into this in more depth. They can be reached Monday-Friday from 6am-5pm Pacific Time at 800-875-6467 and they will be glad to assist you.
