This book is very similar to a title released in Logos by the E4 group over a decade ago...

It appears the Logos version is more complete. It seems to have quite a bit more content. The E4 introduction mentions paring down of the material included, which Logos seems not to have done.

This is a classic work and it is very nice for Logos to give it to us. Thank you!

It appears the Logos version is more complete.

A quick search of both resources shows 400 articles in this free Logos version compared to 292 articles in the old E4 edition. (This is based on searching for the letter 'a' in each resource, so probably accounts for all the articles.) Time to hide the old E4 version.

Let them continue. May be we will see one day good old Thomson Chain Reference Bible? Who knows. Smile

Wow! What a gem. I'd only recently heard of Robert Murray McCheyne (also sometimes spelled M'Cheyne) through a class I took last fall on the History of the Christian Pastor. Had never read anything by him before, but the first thing I chose to read in this book was a letter of his to "One of his flock who had felt deserted in soul" (p. 285). Wonderful.

Very nice.  Thanks Logos!  A classic work that is well worth reading again and again.
