BUG: Cmd+Shift+S (with 'send searches here') doesn't focus search field

Title about says it all.  Press Cmd+Shift+S to open a new search window, click the dropdown menu thing (top-left corner) and select "Send searches here".  Now click in the search field, enter some search text, etc. and press Enter.  Click on some search result to shift focus to a Bible pane.  Now press Cmd+Shift+S and try to type some other search word or phrase.  Notice that the focus is not in the search-box of the "send searches here" panel.

Only solution is to manually focus the correct field using the mouse.

Please can this (and other focus-related issues) be fixed.  That is, can someone from Logos spend some time "playing with" Logos for Mac, trying out the various keyboard shortcuts, etc and scan Logos' focus handling methodically...?

I'll submit this to the Mac developers. In Windows pressing Alt+S with "Send searches here" enabled puts the focus in the Find box, ready to enter a new query, so Cmd+Shift+S should do the same if possible in the Mac version.

<bump> When will these (irritating yet likely easy to fix) issues be addressed?  Beta 11?  :-)   Version 4.4? :--   Christmas? :-(

This focus issue persists in the latest beta version (4.5 beta 2).  I use search a lot and have my hands on the keyboard most of the time.  Creating a single search window with "Send Searches Here" checked, and then pressing Cmd+S should bring the search pane to the foreground (this works fine) and focus the search text-box (this works if the search pane was in the background but doesn't work if the search pane is already visible -- say, if I've done a search, clicked on a result and (as a result of clicking on a search result) moved focus to a Bible pane.

Please can this and other focus issues be attended to?  Perhaps as part of 4.5's "polishing"?

Any word on when this bug will be fixed? I joked about Christmas in June after the bug had been unattended to for 6 months. We're now in November.  Any way that bug fixes can be prioritized over new features? Many others have asked for the same thing...

We actually have developers working on bug fixes, parity issues, and new features.  All of these areas are important to us and to users. We do plan to implement this particular functionality in the Mac for a future release.
