I have seen a couple of different editions of this available - does anyone know:

(a) what are the differences between them, if any?

(b) if I bought the older edition, would it simply upgrade any books in it to the latest version once I had installed it on LDLS, registered it, synch'ed licenses, launched Logos 4, etc?

AFAIK the only difference between version 2 and version 3 is the Logos software that shipped on the CD. I'm pretty sure the resources themselves are the same. Version 1 was missing the 4 pocket dictionaries, I think I remember.

But certainly, whichever version you buy, the resources that are included will update themselves once installed with L4.

That's correct, it's the one I got back when I was an undergrad Tongue Tied

Not to rub it in, but they're actually pretty useful. A two sentence definition can be very helpful both as a memory jog, or to drop into a sermon to remind people of a definition for a term. I won't buy v1 if it's only a few dollars cheaper than v2.

I know. I got what was available back then and given that the disk I got came with the LLS it's a nice reminder of not having to pay to keep those books in the latest engine Smile. I can do without since it doesn't look like the pocket dictionaries are available as an "upgrade."

Hmm.  I wonder if Logos sales could do something about that....  Huh?

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Not a bad idea. I can live without them but us poor early adopters (version 1 owners) have been left out with no options.

So I received it today, installed it on my LDLS installation and now have it in L4.

Paid c. £65 rather than double that from the web site.Smile
