if I have a large library, but do not need/want certain commentaries or books for example, is there a way to NOT download them now or in the future?
Now, unfortunately no. In the future, yes. Once you have your library installed, you can hide a resource and it will delete it from your computer and keep it from being installed on any of your computers until you specifically tell it to come back. The thing is that in order to Hide a resource, your setup needs to know about the resource.
After you download them once (to any machine), you can 'hide' them. After hiding, exit are restart Logos4. You should not have to download them again. At least that's what we were told in the Beta process.

This works ... but I am getting frustrated because the Library window does not stay open AND I don't seem to be able to select more than 1 resource at a time ... yes, there is a lot of material that I never look at - pastor-type stuff.
You can drag the library icon down and make a panel so that it doesn't disappear. (Or right-click the library icon for more options)

You can grab the library tab and drag it to a panel. That will keep your library open for as long as you want it to.

You can dock the library window just like any other window...grab the tab after it's open and drag it to an open space...it'll stay open

Let me say I was wrong - I quit and restarted Logos. On the restart the hidden resources continued to appear in searches. I then got a Logos indexing error while writing this message. I'll see if it works AFTER any reindexing works correctly.

Hidden resources will only be truly hidden once all indexing is finished....
As for the Library pane - right-click on the icon (for various options) or use ctrl-L (new window). The right click thing was my idea
Yes, I finally have my brain working correctly on this - I found the PC download. If I could only find its companion brain download.
