WBC prepub vol 8 Judges

This prepub is closing soon, so I'd like to get the following question resolved quickly: As an owner of the WBC Logos series, will this volume become available at the Nelson Ministry "WBC New Releases" page? Cause if so, I will be able to get 50% off the list price as a series owner.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

It seems like you need to ask nelson as it seems they are the controllers of that page.  Would it be electronic form from them?

I cannot imagine it would not. All the other volumes have. However, we won't know without a response from Nelson. If you contact them I think re-posting here would help a number of folks.

I will try contacting Nelson. They have always honoured the deal in the past. I guess what threw me this time was that Logos offered a new volume as a prepub. I don't think they've done that before.

This might be worth checking out. Because right now, the Pre-pub price of $39.95 isn't any different then the prices offerred on Nelson's website. If we could get it for half the price (for those who own the set already), why wouldn't we? I'd love to give Logos my money and business, but in the end the cheaper price will win out.

I recently purchased the WBC set. It shows as 59 volumes in my library. I didn't purchase the 6 volume upgrade but those already appear to be part of what I have. According to the note on the Nelson website, 54 + 6 should be 60 volumes. Am I missing something? Would those of us who purchased recently and have 59 volumes still be eligible for this 50% upgrade price?

Read closely and you will see it is 50% off the list price.($49.99?)

You also have to own both the 54 volume WBC and the 6 volume upgrade and submit your Logos User ID to them.

Just remember when you buy off site you will be dealing with the third party's return policy. Does Nelson offer a satisfaction guarantee?  Also, your purchase will not appear in your order history. Your license will of course be part of your Logos record after you download & sync it (if it works like other third party products.)

That is a lot of "ifs" & conditions for a $15 savings.....

I own the 59 volume set, so no worries there. Not too concerned with a return policy on the book either, as I'm not going to return it once purchased.

Saving $15 is saving $15 in my book, even if it requires a little extra effort.

I seem to be missing one volume in both L3 and L4, I count 58 in both programs. Vol. 18A Job 21-37 is MIA. Anyone have any idea why that might be?

Are you sure on 18A (I have in both L3 and L4) but don't have 18B (ch38-42).

Yes. 18B has not been produced yet, so I don't have that either. But I don't have 18A, even though that is part of the 59 volumes of the current "total" package...thus my count of 58.

Question about the "revised" versions, or rather about the "original" versions. Are they second editions with supplemental material, or are they total redos?

If they are redos, is there any way I can get a copy of the older editions? For free, ideally... Cool

18A came out some time after 2006. I purchased the set prior to its release, and then had to buy 18A when it was released. As an owner of the collection, however, I was able to purchase it for 50% off. The key is to watch the WBC new releases page.
