How about at least one Romanian Bible? The Cornilescu version is widely available on the Internet and it is not under copyright. It is the translation of choice for the evangelicals in Romania. There is at least one version of the Cornilescu translation that had its text revised to conform to the latest spelling rules in the Romanian language since the language has gone thru some changes since the original translation was published in 1928.  There is also an orthodox version available.  Also a new translation known as the NTR translation was published recently by Biblica (www.biblica.com formerly known as the International Bible Society).

Thank you,

I support this request as well. It is probably the single most important thing that prevents me from using the Proclaim software on a weekly basis. Everything else is great, apart from the lack of a Romanian translation. The standard or revised edition of the Cornilescu Bible is NOT under any copyright hoders - so it can be freely included in the software. I can provide an XML version of the Bible if necessary. A couple of people wrote a program I am using as an alternative, in the meantime, called Sunday Worship. It can be found here: www.sundayworship.net . I am using this, instead of Proclaim for showing verses as well as songs but it's a bit of a pain switching back and forth. I hope the Romanian Bible will be soon added to the available Bibles. I am sure it's very easy!

I think, until Logos does take this up (if ever), the best way to go would be to make a Personal Book, i.e. converting the text into docx format. There have been some bibles done, have a look in the Files forum.

Thank you but that sounds like more work than I am willing to do for this, since I am already using the software mentioned above.

You can find a docx version of the Cornilescu translation here:

Download the cornilescu.docx file and add it as a personal book.  Worked for me.
