Just noticed that the Louw & Nida line is missing from the ESV Reverse Interlinear panel, and it is no longer an option either.
It is still present in NKJV RevInt.
odd - it here on mine, are you running SR3?
I don't have it either although I have it in my library and I'm running sr3
With me that makes it 50-50!!
Any thoughts, Logos?
I don't have them either.
Hi Richard.
LN is dependent on the NT. If you sync your reverse interlinear ribbon to an NT reference (I see Hebrew lemmas in the screen shot) does LN show up? (same question for others who report not seeing LN as a line option).
There may be around 100 spots (individual words) in the ESV NT that will not have LN numbers at present (though I honestly can't remember if I filled those by hand or not) as there are around 100 differences between the NA27 (which we have an LN annotation for) and the ESV Greek text. But in general the line should be there for NT references.
There it is. I was in Genesis when I check. In Matthew it is there.
Thanks ... I didn't even consider the OT\NT thing - I assumed that the option would be there regardless of reference. It is showing up now ... but
... there is a minor bug. I was in Isaiah - no L&N as expected. I jump to John 1, and the Interlinear updates to that ref, BUT still with no L&N line or option.
I have to click on a word in the ESV text, and then the L&N line and option reappear.
So there is a "refreshing" bug going on (no, I don't find bugs refreshing, you know what I mean).
ThanksRichard
P.S. This is in SR-3 ... SR-4 has just downloaded so it may be fixed.
