Anyone know anything about ESV 2011 text from Logos? Probably an old subject but ...
I don't know anything about an ESV 2011. Perhaps you are referring to the NIV 2011? (The NIV 2011 is included in the KF-designated base packages in place of the NIV 1984, and the KF packages are a free upgrade from the LE base packages.)
Hi Todd,
First I learned of it was earlier this evening at Mark Bertrand's Bible Design Blog:

Many times a translation will undergo "minor" changes without the publisher making a big deal about it. It seems to be the case here:

You piqued my curiosity! As I was reading the other article, I saw that the ESV underwent a similar change in 2007. The screen shot below shows that the ESV text in my library is the 2007 text edition. Crossway does not market several "editions," and this is not a major change like the NIV84 / NIV2011. My guess is that at some point Logos might provide us with an automatic update, based upon the new text. I would think that it would be unlikely for this to happen anytime soon.

No, that's still in there [Proverbs 30:24-28] Of course, that is in most "functional" equivalent translations.
I just blogged a bit about it, w/sreenshots.

Did you just get this today? I am not showing an update.
Peace, Alex!
I enjoyed your blog. Thanks for posting.
I did note one typo there .... you typed 4:6 when I think you meant 2:6?????
Alabama, I got mine on Tuesday! *smile*
My library shows an update Friday, but the information panel about the edition still just lists 2007.
Logos definitely has the latest 2011 edition of ESV. I can see the changes of 2011 edition in my Logos ESV on PC. The resource information panel, however, still shows the edition is 2007.
